N.B. Please note that Step-2 (2a and 2b) shall be evaluated only when the candidate qualifies Step-1 i.e. TET/PT Exam.



Here is the step by step analysis of the procedure...


 For Upper PrimaryPosts: 

  • Firstly, candidates will have to appear at the TET or Teachers' Eligibility Test carrying 150 Marks.
  • ( পরীক্ষার্থীকে প্রথমে TET বা শিক্ষকতার যোগ্যতার পরীক্ষা দিতে হবে যার পূর্ণমান 150 নম্বর।)
  • Secondly, they require to appear at the language test (2a) viz. English and Bengali as the case may be each carrying 50 marks i.e. Total 100 marks.
  • (দ্বিতীয়ত, ইংরেজি ও বাংলা ভাষা এর ওপর একটি টেস্ট দিতে হবে, প্রতিটির পূর্ণমান 50 করে মোট 100 নম্বরের।)
  • Thirdly, Respective Subject (2b) Test carrying 100 marks.
  • ( তৃতীয়ত, নিজ নিজ বিষয়ের উপর 100 নম্বরের পরীক্ষা।)



 For Class IX-X and Class XI-XII 


  • Firstly, candidates will have to appear at the PT or Preliminary Test carrying 150 Marks.
  • ( পরীক্ষার্থীকে প্রথমে PT বা প্রিলিমিনারি টেস্ট দিতে হবে যার পূর্ণমান 150 নম্বর।)
  • Secondly, the language test (2a) viz. English and Bengali as the case may be each carrying 50 marks i.e. Total 100 marks.
  • (দ্বিতীয়ত, ইংরেজি ও বাংলা ভাষা এর ওপর একটি টেস্ট দিতে হবে, প্রতিটির পূর্ণমান 50 করে মোট 100 নম্বরের।)
  • Thirdly, Respective Subject (2b) Test carrying 100 marks.
  • ( তৃতীয়ত, নিজ নিজ বিষয়ের উপর 100 নম্বরের পরীক্ষা।)


N.B. It is mandatory to clear the TET, PT or Preliminary Test, otherwise Main Written Exam (2a and 2b) will not be evaluated.
